I was pleasantly surprised when visiting here; much of the Latin Quarter has tourist traps with mediocre or worse food quality. The food here was above what I expected in terms of quality. I had the lamb skewers, my wife had the roast chicken breast…both were very good. My past experiences in Paris is that the expedient stops usually result in bland dishes and ambivalent service. Neither apply here, the staff was attentive and friendly. The menu isn’t extensive but it covers just about everything you expect from a Paris bistro. I’d recommend for anybody on their first stop in the neighborhood that’s looking for an intro to quality French classics. Bonus points for the proximity to Notre Dame...
We went to breakfast at the family bar, arriving straight from the south of the france. we had heard of this small bar and its warm and family atmosphere, so we tested it and it turned out that its very good reputation is accurate! We arrived at 2:00 p.m. and were received by very smiling servers. We tasted chicken and stuffed tomato skewers that were, in the sight of exceptional taste, delicious fresh products. dessert, panna cotta, was also divine! In short, the small bar is by far the place not to miss for lunch in Bonneval, smiling, attentive and very pleasant waiters, and the most sympathetic bosses!
Sitio muy mono,muy francés que no esperas. La comida te la enseñan en una pizarra y la carne la hace en la brasa que está en el comedor. Le pondría 5 estrellas si no fuera porque hacía bastante frío a pesar de haber ido a principios de Mayo y no cerraba la puerta ya que había alguna mesa fuera.Se lo dijimos pero no dio mucha solución,nada más que cambiar de sitio q los niños para que no les diera la corriente. El precio más que bien para la calidad.
a very warm welcome with two extra bosses! I arrived at 13:30 for lunch, or I took a chicken skewer that was, my very good and not late faith of smiling servers, pleasant! After this lunch I went to go and swept me back to the terrace a great concert under a beautiful sun! after that I don't understand the false opinion of this person
