le petit canard

We are foodies and always seek non tourist restaurants. So glad I found this lovely local bistro that specializes in Duck. Le Petit Canard is truly a gem. Leave the fancy clothes in your hotel. 9 tables so make reservations. The service was wonderful. We were seated by a lovely lady who I believe was the owner. We do not speak French so in her best english and beautiful smile she gave us menus. But all in French but they do have an english menu. We started with appetizers of cured Duck over roasted peppers and topped with shaved parm. Outstanding!They had escargot on menu and it is my downfall so I ordered it and it was lovely. Our main courses were duck cassoulet and duck l'orange. I actually ate the whole crock pot of cassoulet. I just could not stop eating it. White beans , duck sausage, slow braised duck and cured duck all in this crock. Yum. My husband loved his duck too and he even ate the green beans ( he hates green beans) he said they were the best he has ever eaten. Creme Brûlée was classic. House Wine-perfect. Such a wonderful place with a great couple who are so pleasant. I would definitely eat there again if in Paris. I told my hotel that they really need to recommend this restaurant since when I asked them for places they were sending me to places that were touristy and very expensive.What a lovely couple and experience.

Η διακόσμηση ήταν κάπως περίεργη,αλλά κάνει τη δουλειά της και η ατμόσφαιρα ζεστή και χαλαρωτική.Το φαγητό δεν ήταν τρομερά εκλεπτυσμένο,αλλά πεντανόστιμο σε μεγάλες μερίδες και πολύ καλές τιμές.Ειδικά το φιλέτο πάπιας που δοκίμασα ήταν απλά εκπληκτικό.Το προσωπικό ήταν πολύ φιλικό,κάνοντας μας να αισθανθούμε σαν στο σπίτι μας.Σας προτείνω ανεπιφύλακτα να το επισκεφθείτε!

Pequeño restaurante especializado en pato (canard) con postres caseros estupendos y atención excelente (atentos sin agobiar); orientación de la dueña que se maneja en español. Metro de San George a escasos minutos subiendo; de Pigalle algo más pero bajando. Para París precio asequible.

Cucina francese tipica, anatra pezzo forte. Materie prima scelte con cura, servizio accogliente. Prezzo onesto. Da provare! Consiglio prenotazione in quanto il locale non è grande

O melhor pato que já comi. Vale a pena provar tds os pratos. Sou suspeito pra falar. O dono do restaurante e mto simpático. Ponto de parada sempre que for a Paris
