I ordered a grilled room with potatoes and charcuterie. the charcuterie is from the charcuterie in a barrel of a large distribution. It is a shame because potatoes and camembert were good but the quality of the charcuterie marks! picking up a local producer's charcuterie would be a great value for these dishes! Mid week late October, Montluçon was eerily quiet, but this place was nearly full, always a good sign. Service was brisk yet friendly and the menu if not imaginative was exceptionally well delivered. The puff pastry starters were well presented and tasty. I had a salmon steak that was well cooked and served with a leek timbale that was fresh and well seasoned. My husband had a steak that was generous in size, perfectly cooked and of an excellent quality Together with reasonably priced wine , would highly recommend
I ordered the salmon dish. It was dry and tasteless. The salad that came with the salmon consisted of a pile of uninspiring lettuce with a tiny piece of tomato on top with a tasteless brown dressing. There was a rice side dish with a tiny piece of leek in a thick white sauce. I left most of my meal on the plate.
Very well located. Hot atmosphere and atypical decor. The menu card offers a rather limited choice, however ordered dishes were excellent! Only small negative point is when you are in the upper room with several groups, the place quickly becomes very noisy. Nevertheless, I strongly recommend this restaurant.
Okay service , good location but needs trained staff . It took a long time before the young chatty waiter acknowledge us over looking some girls , took the order and kept forgetting , another waitress came and took the order . Don’t think it was bad but just showed lack of service mentality
