While being around lunch time in Manosque, a local recommended us Le Petit Lauragais. We did not see a menu outside, just a blackboard with the lunch special, but decided to trust the opinion of the local. Arriving at around noon, we discovered inside 2 small, cozy rooms with about 10 tables. 3 were occupied, some had a reservation. An elderly lady serving was not utterly interested in us, but did show us to a table. We waited quite some time before we received the menu. This restaurant would usually receive a visit from us at least twice a year under the old proprietor. The cuisine was always a very high standard for quite reasonable prices. It now has much younger owners who have completely modernised the premises and miraculously, it's even better than before. We snuck in at midday on a Thursday lunchtime and took the only non-reserved table because this restaurant is rightly very popular amongst locals. We found this place on TripAdvisor and thank god for that!!! We would second every nice reviews on this restaurant, food is amazing, every dish there is a surprise on my palate. The decorations is very traditional French and lovely. The lady who served us doesn't speak English but she tried hard to fulfil our requests. We had the 5-course meal for EUR36, it was super value for money!! Would definitely go back
This is a small restaurant near the ¨centre ville¨ parking in Manosque. The interior is a bit old fashioned but comfortable. The owner is lovely and very accurate. The meals are ¨fait maison¨ and very nice. They also look nice! It was a thursday afternoon and I was happy I had reserved, because it was full! Would I go back? Yes, certainly!
