If you've ever wondered what it would be like to have lunch in a French farmhouse, this is the place for you. The best kind of home cooking is served with warmth and flair, surrounded by the shelves of enticing second-hand books also on sale.All the food was super-fresh and locally sourced. We were served asparagus soup with dark rustic bread, followed by a dish of slow-cooked port shoulder in a creamy sauce with morelle mushrooms. In a time where in francs, one after the other restaurant closes, a new restaurant came to a new restaurant in Avallon. A former lawyer threw her life around. In a cosy living room ambiance there's a large table of d'hôtes that you're very carefully cooked food. Fresh products, lots of bio and from the immediate area. a three-way menu for 15 euros. And Saturday morning, an extensive brunch for 8 euros, coffee, including tea. That's really not money for what you get for this. A rapist!
