Le Porche Au Pain

Wonderful evening at Le Porch au Pain. A great experience throughout. The hard working waiter cooking our meat/fish on an open fire whilst serving our drinks. Both him and the chef were super friendly and welcoming enough English language to help us out too. The food was exceptional especially the scallop/prawn starter in a beautiful sauce. Superb fillet steaks cooked to perfection too. The half litre carafe of wine at 8 euros was excellent. Can’t fault anything. Great value set meal and choice. Will return on our next visit to the area.

A smallish restaurant, run by a very nice gentleman who seems to be everywhere roasting the meat on the fireplace, serving customers, cleaning tables, etc. The meat dishes are indeed remarkably good. As are the prices. Recommended. Must be booked in advance.

Found by accident and loved it. We had beautiful food and the atmosphere was lovely. Staff were great even with our limited French. Thankful for Google translate as there was no English version of the menu but we managed just fine.

Eaten here since 1999 under two owners and chefs. Excellent meals, lunch or evenings. Taken maqny friends here, none have ever been anything but very happy with their meals. Steaks if wanted cooked on the open fire.

Best dinner we had during our holidays in Brittany! Grilling was done over open fireplace in the restaurant! The taste was spectacular and the service very friendly.
