Le Pot Occitan - Reservar una mesa

Stopped in Gourdon for lunch, was really craving a nice piece of meat. We wandered past the few restaurants in the vicinity, and this bistrot seemed to have the most popular following amongst locals -- so we gave it a try. I ordered from the (4) daily specials -- steak with frites, salade and cheese. It was a generous portion, well-cooked, nicely seasoned, basically just very nicely done. The atmosphere was very pleasant, and it was great to sit outside, Basically, a very nice lunch all around.

Great lunch as ever at the Pot intelligent rugby chat with Henri the owners son. Excellent calves liver. Sea bass, pasta with a huge slice of fois gras on top. Great wines. Sunshine terrace and good service. Parfait

We had a very good lunch with excellent wine and the meal of the day. I do feel it was a bit pricey (circa £100 for 4). But I believe it's the best place to eat in town and it was packed with locals.

Great find after being ignored in another restaurant. Staff very quick to serve and so friendly, seems to be a family concern, great food and reasonably priced, recommended

Good service. Could be more warm though. Food was ok, not very special. Adapted the child menu because our son doesn't eat "steak haché"
