Coming from Lille for a Paris weekend, we spotted this restaurant on the internet thanks to the many positive reviews and alluring pictures. We were not disappointed at all, on the contrary, it was a great experience! We chose the restaurant Rennequin Street for its fiery and cosy atmosphere that was perfect for a dinner in love in the evening. We found the tables a little too close, but we are probably not accustomed to Parisian restaurants. Charlotte treats us with her small vegetable garden in the 17th arrondissement of Paris. What’s great in her kitchen is that she’s not trying to replicate a meatless steak like many restaurants that first seek to reassure hard customers but not yet open to other tastes. It’s beautiful, it’s good. Customers during our visit were mainly English-speaking, it has nothing to do with the quality of the card but rather surprising in these proportions. A bold, creative and tasty vegan cuisine, in a trendy vegetable/lounge decor, with a warm welcome. The Chef (who took the time to exchange with us at the end of service) manages to transpose into the plate all his convictions and philosophy on the vegetalian cuisine, and he does it with brio and generosity: a true moment of gustative happiness. Just to discover all the dishes of the different seasons!
