we enjoyed our meal and eating is really good, but it is expensive. the dining room is really nice in Provencal style without too formal. the employees were very attentive, maybe sometimes too attentive, as they were constantly asked... if everything was in order. my starter was the gambas that was very nice and tasty. my partner started with the taurin (bulle,) but she said that the sosse was much too strong for her taste. Having been driving round the whole of France and dining in Michelin starred restaurants as well as more local low-key favourites this restaurant stood out as the best across the board. (We ate here twice for dinner while staying in the adjacent hotel Le Mas...de la Rose). The staff, owner and chef were all charming and attentive, the setting is stunning and most of all the food is outstanding. The food is Michelin starred quality and presentation but without the stuffiness that is often associated with it. we had dinner here. 4 adults and 1 dog. we were in st remy and that was one day when I had nothing to do. but we decided to treat ourselves. we had lunch yesterday. the restaurant is located in a beautiful environment. the service was 5.* super friendly staff. eating was absolute perfection. I recommend this beautiful restaurant.
