Le Prieure - Reserva de mesa

I reviewed this place before when I mistakenly thought the bar was also the restaurant and we had a quick meal there. To find the restaurant, you have to go round the corner by the church and then you will find a very popular single space room with and excellent menu ouvrier. It’s lively and noisy but there is an excellent range of choice from the buffet for starters and two choices of main course, all of which comes with wine and bread for 11 euros per person, Very good indeed.

There's really very little choice in this area so if you want a basic cheap lunch then this is perfectly fine. Staff are briskly efficient and if you want to make sure of a table get there before 12.30. The interior of the place has seen better days and is badly in need of a makeover. Toilets are dark and scary. They've got a pool table if that floats your boat.

Family live here so need a local lunch place. Not gourmet but perfectly adequate three course lunch with wine for 12eur. Portions large, food reliable.
