Lovely outdoor area (on the main road) in a beautiful period village. Such a shame that from the minute we walked in, the owner and waiters (not the young man) were so rude. Very restricted menu, poor food (apart from the ice cream which is the only thing not home made). We were a table of 8 and between all of us we tried all 3 starters, main courses, cheese (one choice) and puddings. The goat cheese tart is dry and test less, the pan fried caillette is dry even with the sauce, the tartare is not a steak tartare at all, just chopped beef (poor meat quality) with a parsley and wild garlic, even the side salad and dressing are test less. The chicken main course was huge and eatable but nothing special. €24 for the menu also make it expensive for the area and the quality of the food you get. Sorry for such a bad review but we really didn’t enjoy the experience at all. PS: If the lady owner ask you why you left all your food on the plate, don’t bother explaining to her because for her everything is perfect and it is not possible that it wasn’t good. Never again!

Cute outdoor terrace. Simple menu with a couple of OK tasty dishes and good local wine. Most of the staff is friendly but the lady owner is really incredibly rude and unprofessional. Our child sat completely still and in silence through a 2 hour meal but he screamed once during the dessert the lady owner then told us we had to leave immediately, essentially throwing us out. The friendly people sitting next to us were also totally shocked at the lady owner’s behaviour. Best to avoid for families and groups.

As always this little restaurant delighted us in terms of its cosy atmosphere, quality of regional food and overall value for money. I’ve been coming here for over 10 years with family and house guests and I can highly recommend it. I was particularly pleased to see it was open during the quieter autumn months, and not just during the summer, when I usually visit. Thank you for a delicious meal!

My husband and I were so happy to stumble upon this place and get a table on a Saturday night. The food was different and delicious, the service perfect. We enjoyed the local cuisine on an outside patio nicely lit and very pretty. Everyone was friendly, including the other diners. We highly recommend and will definitely go back.

A good menu selection with many if not all) produce sourced locally and bio-. Friendly, attentive staff. Food was tasty and hearty. Booking recommended. *special bonus having a staff member who remarkably resembled actor Jamie Dornan).
