Staying in the area for 8 days and kept passing this restaurant so thought we 'd give it a go. Big mistake, couldn 't wait to get out of there quick enough. Had very limited drinks and food menu but picked a braun beer only to be...told they didn 't actually have any and blonde beers were a choice of one. Moved on to food, we asked for the Beef and the salmon, only to be told they have no beef either. As they only had 6 main courses and one other occupied table in the restaurant this was a bit disappointing to say the least. My wife and I visited this restaurant expecting a decent and agreeable standard of food. We ordered two different dishes. I ordered Confit duck with a honey sauce and my wife ordered duck parmentier. To be fair, my wife was perfectly happy with her dish....However, the sauce that came with my confit duck was unpalatable to say the least. Domestic cleaner would be a reasonable comparison as to the strength and impact of the sauce on my tongue. I ate the rest of the dish using bread to form a moat between the 'sauce ' and the rest of the dish. Was just excellent after a long day of flying and driving. Warm, beautiful atmosphere. Excellent duck and lamb. A sked the staff to pick a wine for us, and was presented with a wonderful moderately priced local Cahors varietal. I understand the view is very...nice, but arrived after dark.

dishes were inventive, especially the starters of shaders. very good steak! great that they have musical evenings that we enjoyed in the evening, especially to see the local youth dancing!

It was a brilliant day. The view was incomparable front eh terrace. The service was excellent and the food was great. I will go back for sure.
