Not the grandest restaurant I have been too, but it is honest. The place was full when I arrived (always a good sign) of an awful lot of French people tucking into mounds of Mussels, but whilst waiting I was able to have a rather good 50cl of Cidre whilst watching people tucking into their moules (so many different ways to eat them; slurping, using another mouse shell, picking them off the shell until all empty then eating them and one or three different ways I observed). My French is not the greatest but when shown to my seat I was able to order another Cidre, a pitcher of Rose, Crevettes to start and Lamb chops ( the French just seem to have cracked the cooking of them, crisp fat on the outside and pink throughout) which came with frites and lovely cream and shallot sauce to go with. This is my last meal in France this trip and I am glad it was simple, tasty and honest. The way the French succeed so well at! Of course as it was the "Last meal" I had to have dessert (Mint ice cream, chocolate ice cream and a chocolate sauce with nuts as the base all topped off with Chantilly cream), finishing with Calvados and coffee. The decor is not going to win awards, but what will is the service, quality of food and the family that runs the place. Will I come back? Yes one weekend jump the train/ferry and get down to Le Crotoy and this time make sure it's the Moules!

Came here with a baby during the off season. The food was ok, mussels and fries. Nothing special but fine. The service was great. Granted there were not many people in the restaurant, but the server was very friendly, helpful and sweet with my baby. Heated up baby food and waited until I was ready to eat before sending my food out.

I've been there during the weekend for lunch. The restaurant is well situation right next to the banks, the food is very affordable and the service quite fast. The mussels are not the greatest you will eat but for the price at which they are sold, it's alright.

We were at le Crotoy during an half day and we decide to have a quick lunch at the front of the sea. Nice place for a simple lunch. The waiter was friendly. It's a short restaurant, everybody was sitting closely
