Le Puits St-Jacques

Our friends had often mentioned how good Le Puits Saint Jacques was, so we arranged to go together for a Sunday lunch.Pretty village with ample car parking close to the restaurant. A warm welcome from all the staff and this excellent service continued thru out our time there.We ate in the covered courtyard in a pleasant environment, well spaced tables and the murmur of diners enjoying their meals.We had the decouverte menu which was excellent, following champagne and then with an excellent red. The dishes were entertaining, well presented and different in parts, succulent veal, summer truffles, surprising desserts all went to make a meal that was enjoyable and a little different.If you are looking to eat at a restaurant producing more than the mundane in French food this is right up your street.

We have visited this restaurant several times. It does not disappoint. The food was interesting, offering many varied textures and flavours. The ambiance is nice and there is a relaxed feel to the place. If you are looking for a fantastic culinary experience, we would highly recommend a visit.

I've stayed here twice in the past ten yearsThe first time I really enjoyed my stay It was quiet and relaxing, and much, much cheaper.

Ive never stayed here but as a limo driver occasionally i bring people here.
