Le Refuge - Reservar una mesa

Wel came here after a coffee visit earlier in the week. Myrtille tart andere coffee. God tart and good coffee for a too high price. The view was as great as ever. But it was impossible to tell if they were even open. No inviting signs or open sunbrellas. The same on dinner night. Nothingh inviting outside in the beautiful sun. We asked if reservation was necessary, but we were the only persons. Making it truely painful. For us but mainly for the 2 persons in this very large place. They were not inviting nor doing their best to make us fel at home. We ordered the mixed plate. Very dissappointing and not so tender meats for a high price. The fondue savayoide, one of the specialties, came boiling to our table. ....Not really very well mixed cheeses. A very oily substance over a very chewing gum substance. We wanted to leave but did not have the heart, since we were the only persons around. Even the coffee after could not be uplifted with a piece of choclate or a cookie? The icecream on the terrace earlier for 2boys could have been made a feast with a touch of cream or an umbrella on it. That all with the high prices and the bad quality of special dishes ( makes you wonder about the quality of the regular dishes ) makes this a very bad experience. To drive all the way up a Mountain should be worth the trouble. You expect good food for normal prices. Or excellent food for higher prices. But then its normally packed, as it was in the old days with the old owner.

À croire que le bar n'est pas prioritaire pour le propriétaire... les clients ne sont pas acceptés sur une terrasse couverte à 10:30 du matin car ce monsieur dresse déjà ses tables pour le déjeuner.De retour de randonnée, ce monsieur peu aimable, nous conseille de nous installer en plein soleil par très fortes chaleurs, ou à l'intérieur du bar alors que le paysage n'attend que nous.Quel dommage !! Car la patronne est charmante

Nous sommes allés en famille à 6 pour le dîner. L'endroit est magnifique avec de grandes baies vitrées donnant sur la vallée (on était à l'intérieur, mais la terrasse doit être très bien aussi). Dîner savoyard très réussi, avec un très bon Faugères, et service très agréable.A faire sans hésiter !

échaudés par l'accueil désastreux au Dabelin "chez Mireille", nous sommes arrivés au Refuge, ou le couple de gérants nous a très bien reçus dans son très agréable chalet.Nous avons apprécié saucissons et fromages locaux, avec les apéritifs maison.

Panorama sublime.Cuisine faite maison typiquement savoyarde.Simple et excellente. Nous avons été Très Bien accueilli. Bonne adresse
