We are in a campervan and stopped at lunchtime to consult Trip Advisor. After reading the reviews we set out to find this restaurant and we weren't disappointed. For a head we had a magnificent course meal with a demi litre of red...wine. Sadly I was driving but my husband really appreciated the wine. For starters my husband had soup and I had different types of pâté followed by paella for my husband and chicken supreme, carrots and chips for me and finally crème brûlée for my husband and cherry tart with cream for me. my man and I visited for Sunday lunch for alcohol-free drinks. we were warmly welcomed, although unfortunately for the owners on the day of our visit few customers were. starter of goatse and rooted, which was deer. as desired boiled and was full of taste and delicate. a good selection of cheese, followed by a very smooth cream bubble. we will return and can recommend a visit.
The best battered fish and chip shop style fish I've had in years, including any I've had in England. The couple that run the place are English and very friendly. Fish and chips was very reasonably priced and we ate outside to enjoy the weather....Everyone commented on how well cooked the fish was and how the batter was perfect.
a fantastic little place away from the beaten. had dinner here on Friday night, chose the steak and nierenpis, woman had the fish and chips. heather and eddie are brilliant gastenders who run around to ensure that everyone has everything they need, highly recommend to each in the opposite to give the restaurant a try.

have been to this bar and restuarant before three years ago. so we popped in to say hi we were greeted by heather and eddie and had a drink or two they have a great menu and cater for all the family . very nice...and lovely ambience . they have fun times in the evenings too pop in and say hi.
we visited last Friday, I cannot recommend eating enough, it was brilliant. the fish and chips as well as steak and kidney cakes were fantastic. Heather and eddie were very welcoming, the service and the atmosphere were perfect. I will return
A friendly welcome from the owners who served us very good, home cooked food in very generous servings. The rillettes were especially good! We'll go there again when we're next in the area.
came last year and returned this year. despite the lock I had a vegetarian meal to take away any week that was perfect
