We stopped at Baud for the Postcard Museum and the Venus de Quinipily (both worth seeing), and wound up, strictly by chance, in this cosy restaurant. Not only were the prices right 9.50 euros for the plat du jour, 14.50 for a three course menu, but the food was prepared by a chef who really knows how to cook. The claim of cuisine traditionnelle is backed up by the production of some classic dishes like Poêlé de saint Jacques sur lit de poireaux and Filet de boeuf grillé avec sauce aux morilles. Desserts were excellent, service was impeccable. A great value for the money and highly recommended.
