Was in town for business and after a nice walk around the lake , we decided to go. Always delicious and always consistent. We had zero queue wait and we decided to sit outside and a nice table. Our waitress greeted us with a smile , friendly and started the experience. The bread, salad, steak and frites delivered at a relaxed pace and the steak was cooked just the way we ordered. Plus generous portions of frites. And then waitress checked if we were ready for round #2. And of course , the desserts are amazing. Just a great meal, just like at every restaurant. I read all the previous negative comments and just wonder who these people are? Totally NOT anything like we experienced . Ignore them...
I had a disappointing experience at Le Relais de l’Entrecôte. The staff was incredibly rude, and even the manager displayed a lack of courtesy. My family and I entered the restaurant, and while they wanted to order two well-done steaks, I was not very hungry and just wanted a drink. To my surprise, they insisted that I needed to order a steak to sit down. It felt like they were more interested in making money than providing a pleasant dining experience. When I tried to discuss this with the manager, her response was very aggressive. I’ve been to other Entrecôte restaurants before, and they were much friendlier in comparison.
The restaurant, as nice as it is inside, feels like a fast food place but with prices of a 4star restaurant. First you stand in line okay.... then you are rushed to your table, nothing is explained, drinks served, then the entrecote which is nice, then a second plate. Then the menu for desserts which taste really nice but again, also really high prices. then the bill is presented and out you go the line is still there. It is ok, but it is not a relaxed evening. With a bottle of wine (68 EUR) you pay 350 sfr for 4.
Good but personally I think that the quality of the meat does not justify the endless queue to sit at the table. The place does not accept reservations, we arrived at 7.30pm and sat down at the table at 9pm. The service is fast but it is a fixed menu (meat and fried potatoes) and the only thing you can choose is how the meat is cooked. The meat was okay but personally I wouldn't go back.

Simple and delicious. Only one choice to make how do you want your meat cooked? [Rare, medium, well done]. It 's served in two separate servings refill style).. I 'm assuming it 's so that the second part doesn 't cool down while you eat the first half simply wonderful!
It was one place where to go to get a fast and juicy steak. I think now the quality has now decreased and unfortunately also the size of meat has been reduced.
In fact very simple: choice of cooking the entrecôte and wine? Red or white. Practical and good, friendly service.
