Le Relais des Bergers

In May 2022 we went twice to this restaurant; The kitchen is traditional but homemade, especially the charcuterie. My husband took a house and for him, it was one of the best he had eaten. The menu of the day is 15 euros and includes the entrance, the meat/ accompaniment dish, cheese, dessert and coffee. The first time I opted for this menu with a brass quiche like the one we do at home. most for us, was to be able to buy products made by the boss and frankly, no regrets, sausages, ham etc, consumed in the following days were really good.

On our arrival by the well-hidden dining room with a magnificent view that alone is worth the passage in the restaurant. Surprised and even very surprised by negative reviews on the reception. My daughter and I arrived at 1:30. Very late arrival but very smiling reception at the bar as in the room. And throughout our meal although we left the last for half an hour after the others. If the kitchen is not exceptional it is good and hearty. So a very recommendable establishment. Let's say our dog was also accepted with a smile.

Lunch one day a week after the collapse of the fair weekend: good reception, relatively fast service despite a full room offering a very pleasant view of the countryside. Not at all disappointed: quantity and quality of a simple but good kitchen, all for 13 euros (entrance, dish, cheese, wine and coffee included). In addition, the village of St Martin en Haut is very pleasant with its many shops. Here we dam the commercial areas, and that's great!!

The shepherds' relay is located in the heart of Saint-Martin. It offers from the room a magnificent view of the back country as well as a large terrace for beautiful days. Dynamic service. The dishes are simple but with fresh products. The price of the meal 13 € is super affordable. Do not forget to visit the interior of the church of the village, just in front of the restaurant. 2-night stay, the hotel is refurbished, very comfortable. The welcome is very nice. We've made a very good home cooked lasagna. And for lunch the tuna paved was delicious and the ravioli to the grapes also. For breakfast if something is missing, just ask. All at a very reasonable price. I recommend this hotel and this restaurant for a stop in the mountains of Lyon

An unbeatable quality/price ratio. Welcome and attentive service. Khir to the sparkling and chestnut at 3 Euros! Delicious grilled tuna pavilion , replicating sea skewer. Various dessert choices.
