Le Relais du Vivarais

We had the pleasure of staying in the Hotel and ate there just because it was the easiest option for Dinner. We had no idea that the food and attention would be that good !! We were there in August and it was rather hot, but we dined outside in a lovely tree lined terrace . We could have stayed there forever.The Staff spoke enough English to make conversation and ordering comfortable and their wine selections were excellent.The Food was beautifully presented and flavorsome. Highly Recommend and will return.

This was our second stop over on our journey south and we could not have imagined anything so good as this. We were fortunate with the weather so were able to dine al fresco in a delightful rustic small terrace area. The food from the amusee bouche through to the imaginatively presented lemon tart dessert was exceptional. The service was warm and friendly. The owners were keen to let us know that they had used local produce which added to the enjoyment. Will definitely return one day!

If you are in this part of France, this is THE place to eat and sleep.The restaurant is magnificient. Authentic french but not overly exotic. Each dish got 10 out of 10 for taste, presentation, freshness, quality, everything! Service is brilliant. Lovely staff (and some speak English if that's important to you). Exceedingly highly recommended.

We stopped here for lunch on our way to Lyon. We were seated in a beautiful summer terrace. We had a great three course lunch, that was so delicious. Nice atmosphere in the gardenlike surrounding and great service as well. Overall, we were very satisfied even though it was a bit pricy. Reserva una mesa ahora

Service was beyond slowThe meal was so expensive and SOOO bad.__We spent over $40 on a single plate of pork ribs (I think it was 32 pre tax and tip).

Lovely host, great selection of food and wine. Good selection of local cheeses and produce. Our hostess Michele was extremely helpful.
