Don't go here unless you want to drink from chipped glass and cut your mouth, My partner cut her lip from a chipped glass and to make up for this we were offered a single glass of wine. The reply from the restaurant owner said, "our glasses are crystal so it couldn't have been chipped" yet the sommelier Inspected it and apologised and changed it immediately, Typical, treat tourists like garbage, Over priced Boring atmosphereAnd they said the table behind us didn't enjoy our company!!!!! We didn't even do anything but eat and leave. Don't waste your money here, for the same price have dinner for 3 nights any where else. We should have arrived at this hotel at 6pm but thanks to a long eurotunnel delay it was closer to 11pm. We emailed ahead to try and save our booking in the faint hope of some food. Although the kitchen had closed by the time we arrived, the restaurant made us some cold plates which consisted of some great cheese, cold meats, salad and warm rolls which hit the spot. The hotels rooms are huge, comfortable and funky. Our room had a magnificent view of the river which we only discovered in the morning.Breakfast is almost a do it yourself affair in the dedicated room but with plenty of fresh things to choose from.
We stayed our last night in France in the Tower room, la Suite Royale. Though the heat in France was scorching, the breeze from the river made the room comfortableSometimes "charming decor" can mean it's a bit run down, but not here! The room has old world charm but modern comfort and cleanliness. The view of the river from the room was spectacular. The hosts were very friendly and tried hard help despite our language barriers. If we ever get the chance, we will stay here again!
We were very lucky that our bedroom looked out over the Loire. To see the water flowing past was lovely. Our room was large and airy and decorated in a French understated charm. We had a fantastic dinner and breakfast. It's a great place to see the real French countryside.

As overnight guests we were looking forward to a superb meal in a beautiful setting. This was not to be. We were given a wine not ordered from the menu ,the young lady just shrugged when we tried in broken French to complain. The starters...More
Ideal location, superb view of river. We don't speak much French and it was great that the staff were so helpful with that. Everyone was so nice to us: reception, our waitress at dinner, AND The Chef!! Like Arnie, 'we will be back' !!!
The food was lovely but it was very expensive. The service was good but there was no English on the menus and none of the staff spoke English which made it very difficult for us.
Had beef ribs from here tonight and found a dirty, big, black and grey coarse hair wrapped around the potato and corn - really turned me off the meal and

Limited menu for the price. The staff were good and knowledgeable on wines. Lovely surroundings especially in good weather.
Pizza is great tasting, good range (lamb kebab is my favourite).
