The positives: -spacious and bright room -hotel located on the front line facing Mont Saint Michel -very friendly hotel and restaurant staff The negative points: -cleanliness of the room more than neglected: kibbles lying around in several places of the carpet of the room certainly left by the previous occupants and their animal , which proves that the cleaning service is incompetent. A nourishing hand cream found under one of the beds, which does not belong to me. In the bathroom the silicone seals of the bathtub and sink are totally moldy. Large traces of limescale in the toilet bowl as well as in the bathtub. Many long, brown hairs found on our arrival in the bathtub and in and around the...
Essentially there is one reason to stay at this hotel Mont Saint Michel. This motel is the closest one to Mont Saint Michel without actually staying on the island. Some rooms have a view, but even if your room does not the restaurant has a perfect view of Mont Saint Michel (see the photos taken from the restaurant on an obviously rainy and foggy day). We enjoyed the location and ease of getting on and off the shuttle to Mont Saint Michel. The dinner and breakfast we good and accompanied by the view. The rooms, while large could benefit from a refresh. Our room was at the end of floor and was regularly surrounded by the cleaning crew carts and, oddly, by a piano in the hall.
Overall I think if you travel to Le Mont Saint Michel with enough budget, this hotel is a good option. The location is absolutely perfect, it is just beside the shuttle bus station, meaning accessing the mountain is quite easy. The room is a bit old, but it is spacious and you have everything you need, it even comes with a bathtub, and you can see the mountain from distance just outside your balcony. The breakfast is average and basic, you don’t have many options, but at least it tasted good. The room rate is a little expensive, but if you want convenience and accessibility, then this is the right choice.
Nous avons fait 1 nuit avec petit déjeuner et le restaurant le soir.personnel très agréable à la réception et au restaurant. Hotel un peu vieillot et pas très bien insonorisé mais calme la nuit. Nous avons mangé correctement rien d’exceptionnel surtout le poisson mais le personnel est aux petits soins. Magnifique vue sur le mont saint Michel de la terrasse, pendant le repas du soir et le petit déjeuner. Nous sommes ravie de notre expérience dans cet hôtel…
On the occasion of a business seminar: The: clean meeting room with videoprojector giving access to a terrace a little sale of course but with a breathtaking view of the Mont. The : several details giving the impression that the hotel relies on its bays, sure that the guests will come,... even if the grass grows on the terrace and that the bottles of San pellegrino are not decapsulees...
A hotel that is a little confused, which in itself is not embarrassing given the direct access to Mont Saint-Michel. However, the restaurant, which is not at the height of the place, is to be avoided. We only enjoy the view from the restaurant (see photo) it's really a shame, I would like to give more stars ...
