Let’s start with the food (which is what most of people here care about to read first… : We ordered a lunch special, two salads and a kids meal for a family of four. It’s a fish restaurant ok so the kids meal is penne pasta either with tomato or green pesto. The tomato penne turned out to be the most satisfying meal of them all . Second best part was the flavor of the herbal topping of the dorade fish I had it just went so fast as the piece of fish was about the size of a cigarette pack (ok, maybe add a matchbox to that size but that’s already pushing it . The vegetables with it were “cooked to death” eggplant, carrots and maybe zucchini? The two salads were a Caesar and a pasta pesto salad....
We decided going to the Rescator after having strolled up and down the promenade like many other tourists in Propriano at night. This ok seemed a good compromise between fancy and cheap and the menu was quite good value for money.First surprise, the waitresses seem on their own even if the owner on the other side of the street has lots of time to smoke and chat around. Nobody to place us.We ask if we can have an ashtray and the waitresses says we can use the floor as an anshtray (as a joke she says later). Then she comes back and tells us there is no more ashtrays even if nobody smokes in the outdoor restaurant!!Two of us take the menu and oiur friend goes for 'sapghetti vonghole". Menu arri...
Read the other negative reviews below, they're right. The restaurant does have good ambience, and looks better than the others in the strip on the marina. Service - no problem as such. We ordered a fresh fish from the plate of fish, and were recommended to share a particular fish. Then the little surprise. a fish weighing 840 grams was badly cooked (I cook fish a lot). and yielded maybe 100g fish each. More or less shredded on a cold plate. At €6.90 / 100gm, we paid about €60 for one of the worst fish meals I've ever had. In hindsight, I realised they weigh the fish wet (not cleaned), so it's more or less a scam. When asked how was it at the end, I told them (in French) that it really was on...
There are some very interesting dishes on the menu and we especially enjoyed the starters. There is a nice selection of fresh fish which you can chose yourself, it is then grilled whole between Myrte leaves. Delicious! Can be a bit pricey though as the fish is priced per 100g; a 400 g whole fish will give a good portion for a normal eater after taking a starter. Good service too.

Very nice restaurant. Fish soup was excellent and the 2 linguine with the entire lobster were amazing. There was a little misunderstanding with the weight of the lobsters (be sure to check when you choose yours) but the owner was extremely friendly and cleared the mistake immediately. We can only recommend this place and would come back for sure!
Restaurant on the port of propriano,superb views on the golf du valinco,and food to match.We all had langoustes for our main meal and it was delicious.Not cheap but you pay for what you get.A nice bottle of wine from Corsica completed out meal.Will go again before going back to uk.
Had an enjoyable set menu meal, lovely surroundings and a quality feel to the restaurant. My work colleague had problems walking very far and we couldn't get a taxi so the owner drove us back to our hotel.
The terrace is just in front of the marina and the chef knows how to create elaborated dishes with product from the terroir. I strongly recommend this place we have had a very good experience

This restaurant serves local food from Corse, including fishes from the local port. It might seem expensive but fishes can be shared and menus are affordables. Excellent service!
I can't say enough bad things about this place. Horrible restaurant. Horrible service. Bad food. Better go somewhere else.
