The fact that this establishment was totally full for lunch speaks for itself. They have approximately 200 covers and only about 2 tables were empty, but had previously been occupied, the tables had not been cleared, this was at 12.45 hours. We had a set...meal for Euro 10.95, this included a great selection on the help yourself buffet, main meal and dessert. We both had cooked ham in cider for the main course, plus chips, fries, the portion was huge, the meat was very tender, tasty and the chips were hot and crispy. we have eaten here often and never had a bad meal. it really serves the workers-lunch trade, although is used by locals. there are many plat du jour options as well as a la carte. the buffet starter is of high quality. a lot of food. there are several options for net on any plate du jour option. drinks are extra. I am surprised that this is classified so low on ta, as some of the more rated esswaren were disappointing and I would not return to them. I will return to this restaurant and have recommended many friends who have also agreed, it is great food and good value for money. service is fast and good rehearsal as they have so many covers.
excellent buffet starter, which is self-service and a large selection of oriented. we chose the 10,90€ per head. Buffet starters (which they can have as their main meal on a larger teller) choice of 6 main dishes (and a "plat de jour,) choice of...5 desserts. lots of brot, excellent service. not eating fine, but brilliant when you are hungry and not having much time. the restaurant was full until 12.30, which is always a good sign!
excellent food and good value for money. although not 'skin kitchen' it has a good menu choice plus a plate du jour. friendly and efficient staff. decor is simple, very clean and atmosphere is always blossoming it's a place where the real French. go with their families and friends. cannot understand why it has such a low rating. we have often eaten there and never had a bad meal or service.
