We booked well in advance as it was Easter Sunday. When we arrived it was fairly quiet and all seemed well. Within a few minutes the chef had been out and rudely told us to move seats. We did and didn’t make a fuss. We...ordered starters of oysters, prawns and the cocotte of fish. All arrived and tasted good. The next course took 1.5 hours. We asked for the food and they said oh yes, it’s coming. Other tables were served and had left by this time. Eventually it came, I had the cod with prawns in creamy sauce, it was pleasant but the cod was over cooked and sauce was creamy but without any flavour. My husband had the ray wing, again it was over cooked and covered in a bland cream. My daughter...

the frame, certainly is pleasant, but will not make us forget 1 hour of waiting between the entrance and the dish and 30 minutes after the dishes are riddled to have dessert. The portions of fries and rice are really insufficient, even for our children...The wings of raie: without flavor....To be noted, that we had booked and that we, unlike ourselves, spent more than 2 hours at table with 3 children!No excuse from the staff...We will not return and do not advise.

Popped in for a quick lunch ahead of catching the tunnel back to the UK. Mid afternoon on Feb Friday and the place was full. Service was good and the seafood was wonderful. Will def revisit when back again as there was lots left to...explore during future visits. Monk fish in champagne sauce was wonderful as was the saint Jacque starter. ... wish we could get similar places serving seafood in the UK.

After having claimed several times to be served, we waited 1:15 to have our pot of non-cooked, insipid and raw onions! The service is meticulous and not friendly. On a Sunday noon day before 15 August, yes there was a world but everyone is not served at the same sign as our neighbors with their seafood tray and their lobster were quickly and graciously served. According to my spouse, the best eightres of the corner, very fleshy, the fish cassolette is pleasant also, the wings of excellent and generous rays, on the other hand, the cream sauce is without great interest. the vegetables are , for them , just well cooked and the fries are home , and the bottle of sancerre is nice too . to recommend !

Very much a favourite with tourists and decently cooked food most of the time. We have eaten there several times and the rather limited menu palls after a while. Another reviewer described the restaurant as 'characterful ' which is right. The service could also be described...as friendly and 'forthright '. Make sure to book ahead.
