We were lucky to get a table in this small, popular restaurant that suggest about 30 l'd to book to be sure that a table, like people who came after us, were turned away. We had the 26 € three course menu. The shells were excellent, with the best I've ever eaten. The calf pot 'au citron' was delicate and tasteful. Tarte tatin was avarage, but maybe I was too much to appreciate. The cartridge was attentive and explained the whole menu in English. The care of the staff was part of the pleasure; The stew served cake hot from copper-casroles, a lemon sole boiled to bring a bright gold to the table and filled for the guest. A thoroughly French meal and I would recommend a visit.
We visited Le Rond de Serviette by accident, as the other restaurant we wanted to go to was closed. Le Rond is offering a nice 3 set menu for 23 Euro which was a very fair deal from the menu we have chosen a...quiche for starter (good taste, although the bottom was burned , a hake in butter lemon sauce (for this one I would give them 6/5, it was genial! and for dessert oeufs a la neige which was a happy ending of the evening. The staff was quite nice, although with no english communication skills, but I forgive them the butter lemon sauce was so perfect that I'll come back there for sure.
My husband and I enjoyed a delicious meal at this restaurant in September. From the linen tablecloths and napkins in a napkin ring to the elegant ambience we knew we were there for something special. The Maitre d' declared all decisions on the...Menu, including where the ingredients originate, which was very appreciated. It was refreshing that he saw this as relevant to our decisions. This is something that is rarely offered. He gave us the impression that he was really obliged to offer us a nice meal, that was nice!
I was at the Rond de Serviette for lunch and found the food very good. The cuisine is regional and high quality. Wine is very good as well. Meat and poultry are the best choice. Service is ordinary but quite professional.

A big address! Excellent cuisine, fresh and well-worked products, high-end service, and very reasonable prices, especially for this quality. A good plan is certain.
Arrived by chance, what chance we had of lunch in a restaurant where the products are of such great quality and the welcome so warm!!
