This place sits in a lovely central location with the atmospheric pedestrianised section of Biscarrosse village. The building looks appealing with friendly serving staff and a good selection of beers but at a premium price. Beyond this it’s not unfair to say that this place deserves to be on an episode of Gordon Ramsey’s kitchen nightmares. It’s basically one big deep fat fryer. The food is appallingly bad and very expensive. Grand place for a drink but for God sake do not buy food unless you are very drunk or like to give you hard earned cash away. The owner does not care less about the quality of the food it’s just tourists and easy profit.
Avoid this restaurant at every cost. We have been coming here last 5 years. Was lovely. Went tonight. Worst meal ever. Disgraceful…..wouldn’t give it to my dog…. Please don’t waste your money there. There are many restaurants in Biscarosse. Complained and no one even came over and asked what was the issue. 350 for dog food at best…. I am so so angry places like this take hard earned money and serve food from a deep fat fryer for 20-30 euro each……..
I came here every summer with my friends or my family. Cocktails are very good we usually take spritz or mojitos) Such a nice atmosphere and the staff is really nice! It is normally quiet easy to get a table without booking in the evening for a drink) . I do recommand it!
So disappointed with Le Rooftop this year. Always had a fabulous food previously but this year it was terrible. I don’t know whether they have changed owners or chefs but it was the worst meal we’ve ever had this year. Avoid, avoid avoid you will be deeply disappointed!

THE BEST BAR IN BISCAROSSE! Thank you for making us feel welcome on arrival. Spoke English very well and always smiling. Food was amazing. Cocktails are incredible. Can’t wait to be back to see them.
