You like gore and horror? Go to Le Saint James in Bergerac. Otherwise, avoid at all costs. Let 's start with the good news: the personnel were fast and friendly. Next, the food. I ordered an entrecote, according to Wikipedia an entrecote is a cut piece of beef from the thin loin and has a small fat edge. The entrecode I got should be 300gr, but this one basically consisted of more fat than meat. Some of the meat was even raw (not medium baked, not rare, no just raw). Really disgusting. I had to cut away all the fat and raw meat, and showed the pile of offal -which almost made me puke- to the waiter. He offered to put it on the grill again. No thank you. I wanted to post a picture attached to this review, but Tripadvisor does not allow gorey pictures to be posted.

Horrendous, spent an hour waiting on a carbonara and salad, got frustrated and went to pay for the drinks and move on. As I was trying they went to serve the food which I declined and was challenged saying it was only order 11 minutes earlier when I showed proof that was not the case ignorance was about as much as they could muster for an apology. Worse than useless.

The Donald Duck burger was duck steak, cheese, crispy onions, foie gras, salad and porcini sauce. Wow. Great lunch. From the lengthy cocktail menu, this may be more of an apero or late night spot. That duck burger was amazing though.

Not badnot good. Ceasar salad with too few dressing and chicken but ok for the rest . Sea food salad with old potatoes. Kids burger and pasta carbonara were good. Servers not really competent and impolite.

Really good service. Excellent food. Some of the staff speak a little English so brush up on your French. Will definitely visit again.
