We stopped at the local B&B "La Chaume Des Buis" on the way down to the south of France and our host booked us in to this restaurant. We went for the cheaper set meal and having left our dictionary in the car we took a guess at some of the dishes. We got most of them right but a dish of pork was actually pork kidneys - we didn't mind and every course was impressive including the cheese board which was very good value.
The restaurant is situated next to the 'canal du Berry' which provides a nice view from the terrace. The menu offers just a few choices, but whatever you choose is great. The waitors are friendly and helpful. The restaurant also offers catering services for parties.
Great place near the waterside. Especially dining on the terrace is a great experience during the summer period. Menu is a little bit limited with just 5 starters, but all of them taste delicous. Expect a price range of 20-40 euro per person.
Absolutely fantastic food, spotted my 4 favourite foods so did not look any further on the menu. This was my best/second best steak with Bernaise sauce ever with Celeriac tar-tine, starter goats cheese tiramisu courgette Reserva una mesa ahora
We waited a long time before being served, and there was no child menu. Besides, we're cold in the room. However, the meal was good, but the rates remain too high. As for the staff, our server was cordial.
together the meal went very well, however, when I ordered in digestive a broken rum, it was unbreakable. I suspect I've been used a cooking rum.
