we have understood that this place has been new property/management since november 2017. the new team offers everything you could ask from a restaurant. they welcome, at the top of the work, take care of what they do, and so on and so on, as I run out of superlatives. beautiful table settings, beautiful wine and excellent eating freshly prepared from high quality ingredients. also in the menu of the midday format. the chef circulated in the dining room against the end of the meal, and I could only shake his hand and congratulate him on what he and his team reached. all come il faut .
beautiful restaurant at the rande of chalon sur saone. welcome in a very attractive dining room. the menu is mouthwater and the ingredients are extremely seductive. menu is a little expensive for the region and unfortunately the quality of the ingredients used was not the highest. quality that was a scandal for the price. sad I don't think we're coming back to visit. Hopefully they can make a better effort on price or quality.
Found this in the bonnes petites tables Michelin guide, on th way back to Calais from the Cote D 'Azur. Hadn 't booked, but were very accommodating. Service was a bit slow, but boy did the food more than make up for it! Main course of Bresse...chicken in a stunning cream sauce, follwed by the best Mille-feuille pudding I have ever had. Will definitely return, and highly recommend it to others
excellent lunch from the amuse bouche from pumpkin and curry velouté to the delicious 'transparence' pudding, containing fenced birne, cassis and a hauch from an English trifle with a kind of sponge base. for the quality of cooking, great value at 23 euros...for a 4-course lunch. service also excellent: efficient, friendly and professional, without being in the smallest obsequious.
