Le Saint-Maurice

We have being coming here for years, as it is one of the very few restaurants in the area at all. The service is reasonable, as is the food. Very good outside area & plenty of parking makes it user friendly. As is true of most places in the region, the house wine is perfectly passable & cheap as chips compared to the UK. The only criticism might be that the prices are approaching those in cities - eg belter quality food can be found in Nimes or Uzes - but when you are the only show for 10km around, then you can charge what you like - which is borne out by the fact that they are pretty busy !Ring in advance if you want frogs legs or snails. Salads & pastas are huge. Closed Mondays

I loved the friendly staff. Child and dog friendly. Nice airy restaurant room.Service was reasonably fast and delicious. Definetely a place to recommend. The bar for a coffee or apero and the restaurant for their delicious food and friendly service. The menus are delightful/seasonal and really really well priced. Possibility of eating indoors or outdoors. Set in a beautiful little village. I recommend it for all.

Fabulous Value € 14.5 and delicious 3 course mid week lunch menu - changes every day and includes wine/soft drink. Also good evening fare which we have also samples a couple of times this holiday and justly popular. Outside eating area in attractive setting. Friendly staff.

Fairly interesting menu and reasonable prices. Lovely terrace setting and mainly good service (waitress was not amused when she stood in a bowl of water left for a dog and was a little grumpy afterwards). Well paced service and generally friendly.

Very slow service and mediocre food but in a lovely setting. As its the sole bar/restaurant in the village its your only option if staying in St Maurice and unable to drive elsewhere.
