Very disappointed after having been to Le Saloon bar multiple times over the many years we have been visiting Les Deux Alpes. We arrived at the bar in good faith hoping for food, a few drinks and to watch some football. There were no tables available at the time. Despite this, we were advised to hang on for a few drinks at the bar... A hour and a half later after having continuously chased the female member of staff (dark hair, glasses appeared to be the person greeting and seating) we were told nothing was available and the restaurant was no longer serving food. This was at a point in the evening when it would be difficult to get food elsewhere (past 9.30pm). After a few discussions with ot...
Staff made me feel as if they were doing me a favour allowing me to eat there. Pizza was poor, an attempt I think at a sour dough base, under cooked and lacked flavour. Asked simply for a burger and frites, no salad, no dressing, just the meat, bap and frites for my son. Manageress said sure, then plopped a plate in front of my son with all sorts of salad etc on the plate. Even a tomato and deep fried cheese speared on top of the burger . Then tried to palm it off as it’s the way the french do it. Overall had the feel of a bar overrun with children and average to poor food with below average service.
Following the positive reviews of the app, we pushed the door of the Saloon.But what a good time, the great kiffe!Burger veggie, at the top, very tasty recipe, neat presentation miam !service au top, accueil chaleureux et convivial et bonne musique ! certainly a very good address with two alps.
