"All in the title and the pictures! The 64degrees egg with mushrooms was pure heaven. On top of it, the staff is very friendly (even offered us to switch to a better table to enjoy our dessert with the best view). From the main room you can see through a large glass the kitchen. I highly recommend !"

We chose to try this restaurant after having had dinner at the compagnon dining facility of Christophe Bacquié on the same hotel property at Le Castellet .We were politely greeted and seated without delay on the terrace which offers a great seaview. Our table was moving and it took repeated requests to have someone steady it.The menus followed with a rather limited set of options at either 41 or 51 Euros for menus and if you were so inclined , you could indulge yourself with an expensive ! quarter-pound burger menu at 40 Euros. Our waiter came around and told us that 2/3 main course items were not available and were replaced with other choices.Service overall was very slow, poorly trained and not particularly friendly but obviously the staff were too few for the number of guests on this weekday evening . We were offered a terrine appetizer that was rather tasteless. Our party had sauteed mushrooms and squid carpaccio for appetizers and the duck ,fish and spanish pork loin selections for main courses. The dishes were well presented but without any distinctive features and the entrées and main courses were tasty but not exceptional . Desserts were mainly prepared with fresh fruit compotes and sorbets and were excellent. There is a good wine selection to pair with dining choices.Overall not worth a repeat experience but you may choose it as a less expensive option to it’s otherwise excellent next door higher-end restaurant.

This is our second time in this restaurant and once again we were surprised by the superb service and astounding food. Dragan the maitre d’ was so helpful and charming. He even spoke in spanish to us. The waitresses were very friendly and proper and explained the menus perfectly. It was the highlight of our stay in Le Castellet. I would only suggest that they could maybe add one more dish to entrees and main course. Other than that, thank you!!!

Who thinks they're going to get a good meal at the second restaurant of a hotel? Not me but boy was I wrong. The menu was limited but each dish was lovingly prepared. Ultimately, I had a piece of grilled fish that is as good as any I had in Provence. The waitstaff was interested. The service was very good. The prices were incredibly fair! Absolutely nothing to complain about and a lot to admire. This place could stand alone.

The starter and the dessert were excellent- the main course (shrimps) was a disaster- they gave us a second main dish but after the first experience we did not feel like eating it. At least they then cancelled two main courses on the check. Although staff apologized, it would have been a good gesture if the cook had done this personally. Setting is nice, some but not all staff very guest oriented and competent.
