Le Sauconna - Reservar una mesa

We had an excellent meal here. We figured we might be in for a treat when we started with a delicious popover. Craving a hamburger (being Americans cruising in France 6 months a year), we took a chance. The hamburger was excellent! We will return to try the more typical French items on the menu. It is without question the best restaurant in Saint-Jean-de-Losne and we have tried most of them. Keep up the good work.

Our guide said there was a limited selection of restaurants in this town so after the boat museum and the Marina we picked this. Some items on the menu were not available and the one person service was spotty but the food was OK and the view of the river quite nice

Good honest French regional cuisine. Attentive service; the best you will find in St Jean de Losne. Peasant views of the River Saone. The restaurant does get busy in the Summer so best to book in advance.

The service was excellent. What was very nice is that I did not understand the pre-course was little fishes with head and tail and the kindly swopped for a salad. The view was very pretty.

The menu of the day was very well priced and the food was superb. Our server was very friendly and helpful which if in France, you don't always get! Would definitely go again!!!
