"Excellent situation out in the countryside but the persons running the restaurant haven't a clue about organisation and getting food to the table within an hour of ordering! A really missed opportunity as when the food eventually arrived it was very good. Sadly, will not...be returning in a hurry."

beautiful place with very friendly helpful owners and staff. we were looking for a house near rempnat and thought it would be nice to eat in L’Auberge. the owner sat outside, so we asked about eating and said they were not open because they had a private party and that they were fully booked in the next days. He invited us to drink and sat down, where we would have the best. while we sat to enjoy the quiet garden, the owner came by and said that he would make lunch for us as we had come a distance. the lunch was delicious, with everything locally produced and beautifully presented. we even finished with a plate of local cheese. would recommend L’Auberge du savage for its great eating and fri...

superbe kitchen. saveurs delicates. service amical et efficace. bel endroit. bien recommandé. my wife and I spent a nice evening out here yesterday under the charming illuminated trees. the food was delicious and the reception was warm and genuine. this is a wonderful location for...an al fresco summer dinner. the boss/professor is friendly and enthusiastic and his colleague who served us was knowledgeable and efficient. the aromas are delicate and varied, and the good use is made of local and seasonal products. highly recommended if they decide to eat outside or to dine inside on a winter evening.

Set in the centre of a small immaculate farming village at the congruence of the three departements of the Corteze; this commune run restaurant offers a menu that changes with the seasons and with the availability of local fresh produce. The origin and provenance of...all the food is known and the suppliers are proudly shown alongside the menu. The small attentive team are welcoming, knowledgable and attentive. The natural stone decor and outdoor seatin area provide scenery or shelter if you done out or in. The dining experience doesn't change. Always excellent.

my man and I had a nice evening here. we have tried to eat here some time, but they are always fully booked. we managed to come on the last Saturday night. the hope to sit outside the weather was somewhat unpredictable, i.e. inside. it was a nice cozy atmosphere. our meal was delicious. beautiful fresh, fragrant ingredients served on an imaginative wise. there is also an extensive local beer menu that is a really nice note. we are happy to live only two minutes on the road, so I am sure we will visit frequently. many thanks for a great night Reserva una mesa ahora

On Easter Sunday we joined in (as audience) with a friendly folk music session, very welcoming and relaxed. We decided to treat ourselves and stay on for an evening meal. The service was prompt and our meal was excellent, catering for all our needs. Two...of us went for the vegetarian option, one for the chicken and one for the fish; all delicious. Extensive drinks menu, including lots of natural wines and a selection of beers. We decided to have wine by the glass to suit all our preferences. The staff speak English, French and some German.

We had a late flight from Limoges so wanted a nice place for Sunday lunch on the way to the airport from our house near Bugeat. As the Auberge is a bit off the beaten track we went on the Saturday on our way back...from Eymoutiers just to see where it was. We met the owner? who was very helpful. On Sunday it was such a pleasure to eat in the garden. The food was good and beautifully presented. Highly recommend the kir Limousin and the goulash. Service was friendly and helpful. Can't wait to go back.

we have for lunch in public holidays in the hope to be outside, but the weather was not good so we sat in the fully booked restaurant. eating was nice, local and with good wine and beer suppliers. through our cozy meal (not) we have tried our best to guess some of the unexpected aromes before we ask for clarification. we would recommend a visit absolutely, as this is a little gem.

4 of us enjoyed a very relaxing Sunday lunch yesterday. We ate outside on the shaded lawned terrace. The service was good and friendly. The food was very well cooked, imaginative, tasty and locally sourced. The starter of warm lambs liver with a balsamic dressed...salad was delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant and will be returning. Reserva una mesa ahora
