Le Serpent - Reserva de mesa

We loved the vibe ant the look of this place, hidden in a as a warehouse outside but cleverly done in industrial chic inside. We went as a small group on the late side (23:00) and tried a few of the cocktails, which were excellent. The menu and the specials featured local mushrooms and fish put to excellent use and everyone loved their meal. Big plaudits for the room-temp octopus and the mackerel tart, the linguini with speck, the mafaldine with wild boar, and of course the chanterelle mushrooms. We shared a couple of modified tiramisus to round it up.

A somewhat 'hidden ' restaurant in an out-of-the-way alley that will get you away from the tourists. Once you find it, the atmosphere is chic yet welcoming. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and the menu offered a variety of plates we would have liked to...have tried. We had a bottle of wine, starters, entrees, and dessert. All that we ordered was good. The surroundings, music, service, food; everything made for a lovely evening. I would recommend Le Serpent to anyone looking for a nice dinner in Montreal.

This Italian restaurant is anything but ordinary. The space is modern and minimalistic, located in old Montreal. I brought my father, who was born in Italy, and he was pleasantly surprised by the unique dishes listed on the menu. Despite the unfamiliar descriptions, everything was excellent, made with high-quality ingredients. The service was friendly and the creations were interesting. The restaurant also offers a great wine selection. I would definitely come back and recommend this place.

The food was mediocre and nothing special, but the service was very poor. The staff did not pay attention to our needs, such as when I asked for more bread but never received it. Our plates were brought out without anyone asking us about our wine selection, and by the time we finally received it, our food had gone cold. Overall, the service was very lacking. The squid starter was very good, the main pork cheek also very good, the ravioli also good, however we could barely hear what were the specials as the acoustics were so bad that we couldn't hear the day's offerings. The issue of an industrial settings...I guess. We needed to shout to each other for a regular conversation.

We ordered 2 special appetizers…the scallop with sweetbreads on top of polenta was amazing. The duck dish on the menu was well prepared and delicious. The bucatini was a bit spicy and not as good as I expected. Service, food and wine list is top...notch!

The place is modern but cozy. Totally unexpected. Food was delicious. There is only a 3 courses menu with 3 options each. Only 2 desserts. Foie gras, duck and risotto with lobster are great! Tiramisu was amazing

Everything was great, from warm welcome, friendly service, to wine selection, delicious appetizers, entrees and deserts. We were a small group and everyone enjoyed dinner there.

Excellent food. The ravioli with ox tail was outstanding. Lobster risotto very good as well. Atmosphere is high end casual. Food is fine dining in presentation and quality.
