I've been attending the station for many years, and I've been testing the different estaminets around the corner. and there, very disappointed, barely sitting poor reception, we are presented a note of 80 €, the waiter's inquiry to report the error, not very happy the gentleman and, of course, no word of excuse. Hot wine order, at 3.50€ the glass, one is entitled to hope a good quality product, but there, the wine supposed to be the main ingredient had to be out of stock, one could clearly distinguish the landscape through the full glass, i.e. it was very, very clear, so signaling to the server of the defective character of the product, and we still wait for the answer of the boss on the qua...
A lovely place situated at the end of a long run down from Val Thoren into Les Menuires offering a beautiful view over a lake and deep in the valley surrounded by epic mountsin views. Extensive menu, a bit pricey but look at the view rather than the price. Offering a plat de jour and full menu. French Onion Soup was delicious and our main courses were big and tasty. Well worth a stop off before you spend the rest of the day skiing. Waiting staff were attentive and affable. Recommended stop off, will be back.
We had no pleasure in tasting the dishes since the reception was deplorable. 4 servers on the terrace, not a hint, no smile, a terrace reserved for thirsty and the other to hungry... which could be logical if the place was huge, but there...Emplacement top however so we had a drink waiting for a table, waiting was long and so we refused the table to leave elsewhere...
I have enjoyed eating here on two occasions since moving up from Provence. However I have been overcharged on both occasions by around 15€ each time. When pointed out I have been given my money back but I can't help but think I am being disrespected. The first time can easily be a mistake but the second ? For this reason I will choose to eat elsewhere.

fondue aux cèpes, raclette et rebloche au programme pour ce repas. We were six and I was able to taste the three dishes. I didn't spend a bad night looking for the bottle of water. So I think it proves even more the quality of the products. Thank you to the whole team at this restaurant!
pleasant lunch from midday on a terrace well exposed to the south. at the foot of the noisy quarter, along the track coming from the thorens val. good reception, fast service and very good quality. Of course a little expensive but not worse than elsewhere.
