we ate here for breakfast first. her set menu sportif of omelate (bacon or lachs, I had speck,) coffee, brot, roasted kartoffels, fresh pressed orange juice for 9€ is a bargain and excellent prepared and presented. several options in the menu. determined to try for...supper and it was great. after a full day of walking around louvre etc. I was hungry and planned on appetizer main entree. happy hour starts at 15 o'clock: 25 cl of a very nice cotes d rhone for 5€. we started crying, then I ordered the planche, thought it was the appetizer. it had four excellent charcuterie, and four fabulous cheese. came also with brot. wife ordered a cobb salad. the salate was huge and was the best she ever h...
This is one of the only restaurants in Paris that I go to often and in which I feel like I'm at home. This is mostly due to the waiters, Sabrina in particular is excellent and always goes the extra mile to keep us inside...the bar (I also work in hospitality so it does not go unnoticed that she makes us feel welcome to stay as long as we like). The Happy Hour is very generous and goes on until pretty late. In general, an excellent spot for drinks, the food is equally good on occasion that I have eaten here, and the service is really special compared to most places in Paris. P.S. I actually hosted my birthday party here last year, and the owner was kind enough to put aside part of the restaur...
Contrary to what you’d expect, Le Spicy Home does not serve French food, but international cuisine. The menu is offered in three languages, though the restaurant is off the beaten path so there are not many tourists. Great for parties, families and dinner. The atmosphere...is upbeat and the service is on the slower side, so meals are meant to be leisurely. Prices aren’t that high. Overall great meal, definitely recommend.
Sunday morning we came to have brunch with friends in this café right in the middle of Paris. The nice internal decoration and atmosphere caught our eye, as well as the different menu options. Our experience however was spoiled by the LONG waiting times and...the completely aleatory service not welcoming nor friendly at all.
