Stopped here for breakfast before getting the morning ferry to Portsmouth. Ordered coffee and crossant which came with an extra little cheese filled crossant perching on top of the cup which would probably been enough but I'm not complaining. Lovely place with that great French morning ambiance - newspaper reading, crosswording, lazy chat - as if no one has a care in the world!!
We stopped in here when visiting this town. Very friendly and typical of France. There were no menus in English so we struggled to order. I had the steak and fries with an onion gravy. Steak was tough and greasy however very flavorful. My wife had the ham and cheese sandwich, which was also tasteful. Lunch, including wine, was $50.
Once again in Le Havre, I did not hesitate for a minute to return to this brewery near the Halles. I found the waitress with very smiling and very dynamic hair. The meal was very good and always a high price ratio that I find nowhere else.
