we had chosen this restaurant a little random for a birthday meal, but the result was very far from being up to our wishes. If the service has been more than anything, the contents of our plates are hardly worthy to be served in a canteen. it was to be: in the entrance a chef salad, it was composed of a few salad leaves accompanied by a few dice of a gruyère type cheese and some soft croutons by a stay too long in a closet (hard eggs had been forgotten) all seasoned with a thin insipid sauce, all ready. the following dishes were to be grilled squides, wings of freshwing and forest pintade with pasta. apart from the grilled squides (about acceptable), the rest was not worthy of a restaurant....
We decided to have lunch at the beach and chose to return to Tambourin. It's very well located and perfectly comfortable for beach goers. This was a very good idea. The service was excellent and so was our food and, by the looks, other patrons' food, as well. As noted in a review about this time last year, we were underwhelmed then. today there was a menu with 4 different moules frites. we had the Provençale and it was superb. and we started with oysters and moules gratinees. both were very good. try it for lunch.
To come and eat a dessert, end of the waitress puts us to perfume, more pancakes, more waffles, no fruit to make an ice cream. because the patron does not intend to renew the stock to avoid loss.
