Le Temps Retrouve is named after the last volume of Marcel Proust's Remembrance of Things Past and the restaurant makes sure your meal delights your palate and even your wallet. The menu changes almost daily and is limited to three appetizers, the mains, and three desserts. Still, you will have a hard time deciding among the original interpretations of French classic dishes. It's off the beaten path a bit (but in the center of Angers) so you are more likely to find locals who know good food and a good value than tourists. A definite must-try!
Upon my returns to France (precisely Angers) restaurant le Temps retrouve is part of the three things I call mes passages obligatoires this little confortable spot is what restaurant used to be , an owner who 's greeting you at the door , take your order and so on all the way to the exit , the food is what France used to be known for, the famous cuisine bourgeoise or cuisine du terroir , food is tasty , pricing is really reasonable and the short wine list is only what you need, Bravo Madam Nadine.
By the way for a work lunch, this restaurant is really nice! The kitchen is very good, the service is of quality and the ratio of quality to the top! Thank you for your welcome, I will not hesitate to come back!
