Moutiers on a Tuesday night, late September is largely closed, so we had a good wander around trying to find a decent restaurant. After all that we came back to this restaurant which is attached to or part of the Hotel Terminus, which is where we were staying. At least there were a few diners here. When you walk in and see the self service part it's not very appealing, but once seated it's not too bad. Friendly, helpful welcome, and willing to talks about the menu. We were taking the TGV to Paris and came in here for breakfast before getting on the train(family - 2 adults/3 children). They charged us E8.50 EACH for a "buffet" breakfast. This consisted of an orange juice, a soggy pain au chocolat, a little piece of bread and a hot drink. No plates, no napkins, crumbs everywhere. The most expensive breakfast we have had in a long time. We politely complained at the lack of food and were told that was all there was. Quite an upsetting experience. We ski in the Three Valleys every year but we will never come back to Le Terminus - and we recommend that anyone thinking of having a meal here doesn't! Excellent pizza! The paste was not Neapolitan, of course, but excellent. My request for special pizza (4 cheeses without ham cheese mushrooms was perfectly accepted and made, the staff was adorable. Why 4 stars? Not because the musical tastes of the boss were different from mine (he was yet; , but for not having taken the adorable family from 4 to 21:45 while we were on Friday night and the resto only closed at 22:30. Good food, good wines... if you wait at the train station, a great place to go!
Had a lovely local tartaflette which was great. Everywhere in this area is a little bit pricey however this was actually one of the cheapest places out with snack bars I went to on this holiday. Would recommend to people waiting for the euro star or overnight sleeper who have a few hours to kill in moutiers.

Great little place for proper food, big portions. We had this place booked for us and we were not warned that they do not have an english speaking waiter therefore its a bit of a difficult experience.
Value for money. Friendly people, proper rooms, secured garage for bikes, in the centre of the town nearby several restaurants and bars. We have had a great week.
Self service cafe, obliging staff who served us even though it was passed their closing time. Good food and very handy for station
