The reviews of this place are extremely positive: a raft of 5 star reviews in both English and French. Having visited, I’m surprised by these glowing reviews. I found Le Teston completely acceptable, but nothing extraordinary. Starting with positives: It’s in a cute alleyway location. The owner has made a real effort to make the restaurant look appealing. The service is prompt and friendly. The waiter made sure we had finished our apéro before bringing the food. The wine is good. However: The menu is very limited. There are no starters available either. The food itself is very simple, dishes like pasta and charcuterie plates. Stuff that you could quite easily prepare yourself at home.
My friends and I are searching for some good local food in the town and ended up in this restaurant with decent decorations. The lunch menu costs 16.5 euro, including one main course and dessert. It went below our expectation. The pesto pasta was poorly prepared and the chocolate cake was not something we want. Coffee latte was ok but it costs 3.8 euro. We consider the lunch way below the money we paid.
We stumbled upon this little place during our one night stay in Gordes. With no booking we were given a pretty table outside.The foie gras burger was incredible, and the pasta also lovely.We washed this down with local recommended wine and enough tap water to keep us going.The dessert of camembert roti with honey was delicious.Great service and good value really put the cherry on top.
reservation for a Thursday night or everything is blinded. place a little outside of the restaurants. nice terrace but what a disappointing card or everything blends japonizing, burger, camembert roasted in dessert! vanilla alps ice cream, salty caramel butter! reception and friendly service but nothing local or understandable.

a very beautiful discovery below the castle. The place is beautiful. a foolish service like you like to find them everywhere. a table was available a day of holiday in a tourist village orf!very good value for money: for succulent pie of the day to the potimarron onion with salad then panna cotta successful. all served with dynamism and smile. What better do you ask?
We went because of the high reviews. I think the ratings are false.The visit was horrible. Food was not so great. However, there were so many flies flying around that it was impossible to eat properly. The product isn't worth the price.
Excellent dishes, charming corner, excellent value for money. friendly and helpful owners. Web were five people and immediately found us the perfect accommodation. Great experience

Good food but rough serviceTable cloth was dirty (looks like cheese left over) that I had to wipe off before getting a new napkin.
Did not enjoy our meal here. The burger was not good (icky taste and completely fell apart) and it was covered in flies!
