Le Tourbillon - Reserva de mesa

Not many tourists find their way to this part of Paris (the 17th, near Parc Monceau; on the TripAdvisor website “more restaurant details” describes another restaurant in the 5th), but if you want to experience truly excellent food at what, for Paris, are relatively modest prices (107 euros for the two of us with a half bottle of wine) in a small, welcoming chef-owned restaurant (Chef Tessier in the kitchen, his wife oversees the dining room assisted by one able waiter), take the Metro to Villiers. Our starters were classic and excellent sweetbreads and house-cured salmon, followed by a perfectly cooked merlu with delicious and inventive vegetable sides that complemented the flavor perfectly...

We had a table right in front of the window, so didn't so much benefit from the decor...The welcome and the service was friendly and professional. The menu is not huge and that's always better in my opinion, still I had a hard time choosing because a lot of the options were very tempting.In the end, when all's said, the food was good, not amazing. But it was qualitative and well cooked. Same for the dessert. The millefeuille is worth it.

We were 3 couples , sitting in the back room , I guess more pleasant and more quiet than near the door. Decoration simple but pleasant.Good service. I took the foie gras , which could havge been good but far too salted , then the scallops , excellent then the millefeuille which was good , a bit too creamy . Wine list is nice , service good and efficient. Everybody agreed that this was good quality food.

Cosy small place with outstandingly friendly, attentive and professional staff. We had the duck foie gras with date and fig marmalade which was simply amazing. Then we had the sirloin steak (raw) in red wine sauce. Very juicy and tasty. We had another dish from the menu of the day which was also great. The size of the portions is more than sufficient. After a disappointing meal last night tonight couldn't have been more different. Greeted warmly on arrival, the waitress helped us with the menu as we have little French and the meal was delicious. Would recommend it to anyone visiting this area of Paris and told the hotel how good it was for them to put on their list of recommended places! Thanks

If you are looking for an affordable place to enjoy French cuisine, this is definitely the place to be.. Great service, the waitress couldn't speak much English, but tired really hard to explain the menu to my Wife and I..the meal was simply amazing and the deserts are a must have.. Overall, a wonderful experience and a great bang for your buck!!!

We stopped here whilst meandering through the district on a beautiful sunny Saturday. What a delightful restauranr. It is quite small and seemed full of locals or for dejeuner. My husband and I both had the menu, it was gorgeous, beautifully presented ams wonderfully tasty. Very reasonably priced too.

I have tried this restaurant twice and had a great experience both times. The food is good and the atmosphere is very pleasant. It was great for both a romantic dinner and for a ladies night out. The staff was also very efficient and nice. The food was great! Reserva una mesa ahora

Popped in by chance as menu looked good. Welcomed and seated and a good menu with interesting specials. The food was really good - freshly made and very well prepared and presented. If in the area don't walk past.

Excellent service atmosphere. I wanted something omitted from a dish as I do not eat meat or seafood and this was prepared especially and was truly delicious. Great wine list and lovely staff.
