Unfortunately we were not able to taste the food. After booking the table over a phone for the 25th of May (Saturday) we found out that the booking was made for the following Friday (31st of May). The 25th was the only day we were...staying in Fecamp so it is quite impossible that we made the mistake. It left us very disappointed (we came from London on the very same day to celebrate Mother's day)and all the other restaurants in the area were already fully booked. I'm leaving this feedback because maybe it will help someone with their booking; make sure both sides understand what date you want to book. As surprise to many (incuding myself after reading the reviews) the proprietor wasn't part...
Amazing experience. Le Vicomté has an authentic French feeling with a very cosy atmosphere. The waiter was super friendly and professional. And then I didn't talk yet about the food. 22 euros for this kind of menu is almost unbelievable. In Belgium we could get...one dish of fish, while here you get served a 4 course menu with fresh ingredients. We were staying at Étretat, but I am happy I drove to Fécamp for this little gem.
eating was simple, but tasty, the service impeccable, the price very reasonable. it just seemed to be the two. Jean-Paul in front of the house, it's just small, but he seemed to be everywhere and completely relaxed. so not seen until the end. but every cure was so good, even the cheese was in perfect condition, ripe for full taste, but not over ripe. decent wee on the glass.
