Le Vieux Four Manago

Recently had dinner with family 6 patrons. Food was terrible my meal consisted of cesar salad and farfalle sausage pasta which I asked for linguini instead of farfalle. The cesar salad had no croutons nor evidence of bacon and tasted like Renee's dressing. My pasta arrived with maybe 2 sausage coins and one paper thin cut piece lengthwise in a dish of overcooked startchy linguini that fell apart probably due to being overheated in the microwave. We ordered a bottle of wine that our waitress put on the table next to us, the hostess sat a family at the table and she took our 1/2 bottle of wine away. While making a day visit in the Laurentians, we stopped at Le vieux four Manago St-Sauveur. The freshness of the pasta and ingrediants was beyond my expectations for this low- key place. The half portions of Linguini Vongole and the Tortolini were generous and incredibly fresh. As was the warm, fresh baguette that came to the table. The rosé sauce in particular was delicate and creamy and the way it should be but so few other places know how to make right. The prices are very reasonable compared to some of the other restaurants in the village. Well worth a stop when you want freshness without overpaying.

Pizza was very good since it was cooked in a wood stove. The waiter service was also above average. The only negative was that the pizzas we ordered which were regular sized were pricey at about $ 19 each. Fou 4 of us, the bill including the tip came to about $ 90.00. A little too expensive for a lunch time meal.

We frequent this restaurant at least twice a month. The wood oven pizza is excellent and the staff is friendly ! They have some of the best veal anywhere! The veal is a little pricey but well worth it. Thanks to Claudette and the rest of the staff for always making us feel special! Reserva una mesa ahora

Nous avons mangé la pizza Margherita avec anchois et les fettucine Alfredo. C'était bon! Nous avons eu un très bon service, notre serveuse était une perle! Nous sommes allés un vendredi soir, il est conseillé d'arriver très tôt ou de réserver!

That pizza was just amazing, crust is on point, they put just the right amount of cheese and sauce. Service is perfect, our waitress was extremely enthusiastic and kind. Quick and fresh, no complaints what so ever

Very lovely restaurant. Pleasant atmosphere and staff. Able to see the open oven that the pizzas are baked in. White table clothes covered with white paper so that the white stays nice longer!!

great pizza in a wood fired oven. great salads. I have enjoyed every meal I have had at this restaurant. The service is good as well. Prompt and attentive. Good for meetings. Reserva una mesa ahora

Good food, great menu with a lot of choices. Only downside is that I find it is always very noisy and the tables seem quite cramped together.

Très bon ! Nous avons pris du filet de morue avec sauce à la crème et pétoncles. Vraiment très bon!î
