Le Vieux Tacot is not a restaurant but a snack truck (ignore the picture; where did that come from? parked between Le Petit and Le Grand Travers, which you approach from the Carnon end of the now one-way road (D59 between Carnon and La Grand Motte at Beach Access Point 70. Run by Sam and his wife Nicole, often aided by one of their daughters during the peak summer season, Le Vieux Tacot offers tremendous value and good quality food with a personal touch that explain the devoted clientele that often eats there every day on beach days during their summer vacations. The offerings, mostly generous sandwiches made with baguettes, range from simple merguez with harissa to chopped steak sandwiches...
Des propriétaires hyper sympathiques. On se régale pour vraiment pas chers. On prends des sandwichs merguez frites et chipolatas frites sauce samouraï. Un vrai délice. Pas besoin de prévoir le pic.nic. C'est des produits frais à des prix hyper bas. Nous le recommandons vivement. Les sœurs samouraï.
A must for a successful stay on Montpellier- Carnon. A friendly place, a varied map, and cherry on the cake a wonderful family team. It is a real pleasure to find the old tacot every year. A beautiful and good address without a shot and without a guaranteed disappointment, go!!!
Super nice to have a small dining area on the beach the sandwiches are good and prepared on demand as well as the fries and chipos the managers are fast and friendly the prices quite correct I recommend
