I finally discovered what raw black pudding tastes like today, and, unsurprisingly, it wasn’t good. Eating it raw clearly revealed how “past its prime” the food was. Since this restaurant is right next to us, I’ve given it numerous chances since it opened, but it always seems like the staff are overwhelmed, and the food quality is honestly quite poor. From the very first day, we’ve had entire meals refunded at the request of apologetic staff due to ridiculously long wait times, and I can't believe it's still this consistently bad after all these years. Unfortunately, we were seated at a terrible table tucked away in a corner, despite many empty tables nearby. To make matters worse, we were right next to an inconsiderate couple who couldn't stop kissing, which was quite embarrassing. When our food arrived, there were no utensils provided, so my wife had to go find some. Once the table next to us finally cleared, we were left with a view of a blue paper towel and a cleaning bottle for the rest of our meal. Overall, it was not a particularly pleasant way to spend a Sunday evening.

Super good food, quite a bit of a wait due to a baby showever but they did offer free drinks and gave use 50% off out meal. Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly but also dog friendly which mite not be good for some kids. Parking: The car park is only for the pub and links to a semi-buzy road on some days. Dietary restrictions: Supper good, on their menu you will be able see a GF for gluten free, NU for nuts, and VE and VEG for vegations and vegans and you can also ask about other allergys. Went here with family friends and our dog. Food was really nice the service was very good attentive but not too much. The only negative thing was when we left there was no lighting going to the Carpark. Fortunately we gD our phones to use the torch. Parking: Like I said previously there was no lighting coming out and in the carpark. So we used our torch on our phones. Service: Dine in

Like this place. Nice atmosphere, good service, nice menu but considering eggs feature heavily on the menu they are always cold!. I've told the management, I've sent back food and told them it's cold but nobody is listening. Such a shame as it's the one thing that is spoiling an otherwise fab place. Listen to your customers. Went for a meet up with my son....ordered poached eggs on granary bread.....have to say a bit bland and the eggs....well decency won't allow me to say what they looked like.... Had a flat white which was served in a glass!.... no handle. A hot drink in a glass....won't be going again sadly Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch

Fabulous lunch here with friends this afternoon. I had the stacked thighs which were absolutely delicious, piping hot and melted in your mouth! Friends enjoyed their chicken sandwiches and hubby had the burger! Great choices of food, friendly customer service and overall a fab experience!
