So at last a partial re opening here on Thursdays thru Saturdays for take out from this small independent and the same super service from folks who care about food. Now you don’t have to be a vegan or a vegetarian to love really good fresh food with zing and flavour as well as vitamins. I mean that day fresh. I’m not a vegan nor a vegetarian but I will have vegan and vegetarian days. Or I use vegan and vegetarian food as sides with meat. So here expect none of the **** we are being fed metaphorically and physically, like the nonsense freshly frozen, or high processed foods stuffed with sugar and cheap fat so capitalism can make even greater profits, or pre made sandwiches from a factory that...
10/10 This is cooking as an art form. What they are able to do with plant vegetables is truly incredible and it tastes like the first vegetarian menu that hasn’t substituted quality. Lunch, Dinners, Coffees Buns each of which is 5* will leave you feeling fed and content without the bloating from large heavy meals. Tasty curries, vegetables bakes, Raspberry coconut chia buns the flavours are bold but perfectly blended together. It truly is a new experience and Leafy Greens are leading the way in plant based cooking that is preferable to normal menus. I’m there twice a week for life!
I absolutely love Leafy Greens! I grew up in a nearby town but now live in the United States. When I was visiting home, a friend couldn't stop talking about Leafy Greens, so we went there for lunch. It was amazing! I had the salad bowl, which was absolutely divine, and got one for my parents who loved it as well. I went back two more times during my trip and can't wait to go back again later this summer for delicious and healthy food. Tony was so friendly and welcoming.
Sunday lunch for two in this small but perfectly formed cafe tucked away in a side street off the square in Warrenpoint near Newry. Such a delight! I had the tastiest ever avocado and mushroom with hummus and various mouthwatering hints of flavour on the crispiest soft sourdough fresh buckwheat bread The coffee was the best in the Newry area. This cafe deserves to be on the main street in larger premises. Very reasonably priced and great friendly service.

I recently ordered brunch and desserts at Leafy Green and was impressed. The salted caramel was amazing! I particularly enjoyed the coleslaw and pesto. The entire brunch was fantastic. Leafy Green consistently provides top-notch quality food and excellent, friendly service. The atmosphere is fabulous, with Tony and the staff serving up delicious dishes. I do wish they would bring back indoor seating, as I miss the sit-down experience.
I recently visited Leafy Greens for their famous salads and was impressed. The service was excellent and the food quality was amazing. Their vegan cakes were delicious, especially the black olive and sun dried tomato tapenade. The prices were reasonable and the banana bread I ordered was incredible, even my 15-month-old loved it. Tony, the owner, is fantastic and it's definitely worth a visit for great food and a fun atmosphere.
I live in Scotland and when I travel home to N. Ireland to see family, this is the only place I will get my coffee. It is made to perfection, the right temperature (which a lot of coffee places can't seem to get right it's simply delicious! Their tray bakes are also really good. Staff are always friendly and chatty, especially the owner. Can't wait to visit when I'm home for Christmas :
Another wonderful experience at Leafy Greens.Had the mixed salad,hummus and sourdough salad along with the cocunut bar.You will go along way to find somewhere as good as this place.Outstanding food and variety.My favourite place in the North of Ireland

Had breakfast here this morning.Really tasty,healthy and great value.I started coming here more regularly on my way to mountain biking in rostrevor.
