I am not a vegetarian but enjoyed greatly my meal. I visited the place with a friend. We had both the meal of the day, which was colorful, well balanced, healthy, fresh and tasty. We also had a lovely dessert. The dishes were well presented and very reasonable in price. The decor is simple and natural. The place offers indoor and outdoor sitting arrangements. The service was very pleasant, but would gain from the addition of at least one staff. The room was full throughout our lunch, with patrons sitting also outside. It was obviously too much for only one person, who could not take sufficient time to explain to newcomers what was exactly on the menu and also what was not on it, like fresh j...

In a quiet, well hidden corner we found Leaves. Run by a couple ‘muito simpatico’. He’s a perfect host, she’s an excellent cook. Where possible, ingredients are organic, but all for sure are local. All, except one: the Beyond Meat Burger. Which we tried, reluctantly, and have to admit, is amazing for those that find it hard to let go of the meat on their plate. We wonder if real ‘meaties’ can tell the difference? The dishes of the day, we tried three different ones up to now, are well balanced, in taste, in structure and in color. All this plus the variety of gorgeous sobremesas will make us return without any doubt.

We had lunch at Leaves cafe on the way to Galapinos. The food is absolutely brilliant. We had the lasagna and the crepe, both mouth wateringly delicious! Honestly, I had not expected to find such a gem in a fishing hamlet in Portugal, but I’m so glad I did. The owner is such a kind and thoughtful person who truly wants to serve great food! God bless him. I wish him the very best. Check it out.

Amazing food, first class service. Was greeted straight away and told what the specials were that day. Very helpful friendly staff. Lots of choices, decided to go with the specials and wasn’t disappointed. Lovely food, great place and not busy. Crepes were brilliant. Will definitely be coming back. Came across this vegetarian cafe whilst on a bike ride. We are not vegetarian. The food was delicious some of the nicest vegetarian food we've had. All freshly made by the owner unusual mix of Portugese recipes. Definitely worth a visit. Very friendly and great service. English speaking. Great value too!

Me and my girl had the burger , first I was a bit sceptic , but when I gave first bite , it was incredible, much better of many beef burgers I had before . Loved the orange bit, if you had a chance to pass by , you must try it . Left the place rethinking my food habits
